Pastor Jerry's Birthday
Pastor Jerry will be having a birthday January 16. If you would like to leave him birthday wishes, you can do so from the GUESTBOOK. We had a little celebration at church to show our appreciation and help him move into a new year.

Our hearts were sadden to lose a beloved lady of our congregation January 24, 2018. She was faithful to attend even after she was barely able to make it even with her walker. She will be missed!

Sister Lorinda has a February birthday. We borrowed an informal picture of her and pastor Jerry with the cake that her family provided for a birthday celebration at their home. Then we caught her later at church.

Pastor Appreciation
The first Sunday in December evening was set aside as Pastor Appreciation. We had a short service with Rev. Ken Jacobs speaking and giving honor and appreciation to Pastor Jerry and Sister Lorinda for heir dedication leadership, not just for 2018, but for twenty-six this past June. Faith Tabernacle appreciates the unselfish giving of themselves for all these years and are happy to have a special day to commemorate their service. Their son-in-law, Rev. Ken Jacobs reminded us of the years through the current time of incidents and love shown by them to the congregation and community.
Brother Gerald Jacobs presented Pastor Jerry and Sister Lorinda with a card and gift in appreciation of their love and service to Faith Tabernacle over the years.
Their daughter, Karen Jacobs, planned a wonderful menu and after the evening service, everyone gathered in the fellowship hall for a meal and delicious desserts that many of the congregation brought. A great time of food and fellowship and of remembering was enjoyed by all.
