Timothy A. Rainey
October 8, 1970 - October 26, 2016
So soon! We have had another death in our church family. Timothy A. Rainey, son of Sister Lee Rainey passed away October 26, 2016.
Timothy was the son of Sister Lee Rainey and Elzie Rainey. He left two brothers -- Joseph and Anthony, and one sister -- Cynthia. Funeral was held on October 29 at Molnar Funeral Home in Southgate. Interment at Huron Valley Cemetery. Afterward, the church hosted a luncheon for the family and friends in the church fellowship hall. Again, we appreciate those who prepared and served food.

Ronnie Hodge
October 16, 2016. Age 73 of Lincoln Park.
Beloved husband of Mildred. Loving father of Angel (Jerry) Driggers, Shannon (Carl) Yarborough and Richard. Dear brother of Bobby (Helen), Bill (Sharon) and John. Dearest grandfather of Stevie (Pete) Briley, Asia (Clint) Holder and Ty Bell. Loving great-grandfather of Amaya Holder and Mason Briley. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Perry & Georgia and his siblings Rollie B, Hobert and Phyllis Smit. Ronnie will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Visitation Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road. (313) 291-1800. Funeral service Thursday 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Jerry P. Grubbs. Interment at Woodmere Cemetery.
After Ronnie's funeral, family and friends met at the church fellowship hall for lunch prepared and served by the church.
William J. Mosher Obituary
July 2, 1933 - November 20, 2018
Age 85. Beloved husband of Ina (Grubbs). Loving father of Ronald (Sue) Varble, Shirley (Matt) Pasheek and Tom Kurzyniec.
Dear Grandfather of Heather, Kelly, Chad, Matthew and Erica, and great grandfather of six.
Funeral Service was at Solosy Funeral Home in Lincoln Park, Michigan at 10:00 AM
Interment in the Lady of Hope Cemetery.in Brownstown.
Bill was the husband of Pastor Jerry's sister, Ina.Mosher
Margaret O'Dell Obituary
Our hearts were sadden to lose a beloved lady of our congregation January 24, 2018. She was faithful to attend even after she was barely able to make it even with her walker. She will be missed!
O'Dell, Margaret. January 24, 2018. Age 91 of Allen Park. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of the late Patrick (Sally) O'Dell, Bruce O'Dell and Susan (Allen) Lubinski. Dear sister of Helen, Eleanor and Bernice and Irene. Dearest Grandmother of William (Ashley), Michael, Kristina (Matthew) and Rebecca (Kyle). Loving great-grandmother of Austin and Makynze. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Louie and Margaret Oszvart as well as by her siblings Louie, Frankie, Joseph, Irma and Johnny. Margaret will be deeply missed by family and friends. Visitation was Sunday, January 28, 2018 from at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road. Funeral services were Monday and interment at Huron Valley Cemetery.
Gertrude Kormos
We lost another dear sister, Gertrude Kormos, whom we miss in church and visiting with at our coffee break before church in the fellowship hall. When we lost this webpage, we lost her obituary and don't have another copy. If anyone has a copy we could borrow, please let us know.
Opal Lee Rainey
"Lee" (as we all knew her), beloved sister of our church family, passed away July 1, 2019. Her funeral was conducted by Pastor Jerry at Faith Tabernacle on July 6.
Lee will be sorely missed; she was loved by her church family. We will see her again at the "Glad Reunion Day" when we all gather with her and all the other friends and loved ones around our Savior and rejoice, never to have sad partings again!
Deanna L. Baker
January 15, 1938 - July 17, 2019
Our hearts have been saddened again at the loss of another dear sister. She and Brother Myrel have been worshiping with us for about fourteen years, and have been a blessing to our church. She will be sorely missed!
Obituary
Belved wife of Myrel O. Baker. Dearest daughter of the late Rufus and Pauline Ferris. Loving mother of Grace (James) Johnson, Vicki (the late Michael) Cappetto and Laurie A. Baker. Dear sister of David Ferris, Richard Ferris. Deanna was preceded in death by siblings: William Ferris, Wilma Nowitzke, Thora Coldiron, Harry Ferris, Wayne Ferris, Nancy Kozlowski and Robert Ferris. Dearest grandmother of Sherry A. (Beau) O'Connor, Jennifer L. (Jason) Tomlinson, Janelle Oldmixon and the late John J. Bird. Also survived by 11 great-grand children and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral was Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Faith Tabernacle conducted by her pastor, Rev. Jerry P. Grubbs.
Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Kentucky

June 27 1942 - April 25, 2022
Beloved wife of the late Warren Byers. Loving mother of Robert Byers, Deborah (Ivan) Mitchell and Karen (Rick) Clingerman. Dearest grandmother of Amanda (Tyler) Warner, Madison (Tyler Hicks) Mitchell and Brandon Clingerman. Great grandmother of Paislee Warner, Kayden Warner, Rowen Hicks and arriving soon, Teegan Warner. Dear sister of Arnold Carter, Carl Carter, James Carter and Ed Carter.
